Marlborough Sounds Cruise and Wine Tour
This is a great taste of the best Marlborough has to offer. In the morning enjoy a leisurely cruise through the beautiful Queen Charlotte Sound on the famous Beachcomber Cruises mail boat. In the afternoon tour through the winery region of Marlborough whilst sampling a few of the award winning wines from the local cellar doors.

The day starts aboard the mail boat catamaran, cruising through the Queen Charlotte Sound. Rich, blue sea's filled with wildlife surrounded by native New Zealand forest reaching the water's edge. The first stop is Ship Cove, this area is of cultural and historical significance as Captain Cook first landed here in the South Island on 1770. You will have the opportunity to explore the area on foot before getting back onboard and making your way around to Resolution Bay to feed the large blue cod that live within a voluntary marine reserve. Dolphins live in this area and are often seen as well as New Zealand fur seals.

Titillate your taste buds in the afternoon when you immerse yourself in the heart of the vineyards that make up the Marlborough region. You will be taken around the numerous choice of wineries stopping off at the cellar door. Sauvignon Blanc is one of our more well known wines and you will have the chance to sample them and learn what is involved in the process of creating wine in Marlborough.
